brothers and sisters in Christ, accept as our mission:
to know our faith and share it with others, to continue to grow spiritually with respect for the sacraments, to celebrate the liturgy and the Holy Eucharist as the center of our Christian life, to live by truth and love, to serve those in need, to teach by example, and thereby strengthen and inspire our Parish family in accordance with the Roman Catholic Church.
Reminder

Funding from The Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal helps support the expenses of our seminarians and Vocation Office; your pledge or one-time gift is truly an investment in our faith and the life of the Church here in southern Illinois. Please continue to pray for vocations and consider making your gift today!
RESPECT LIFE CORNER ~ Natural Family Planning (NFP) Part 1 of 3
What is NFP?
Natural Family Planning (NFP) is the general title for the scientific, natural, and moral methods of family planning that can help married couples either achieve or postpone pregnancy. NFP methods are based on the observation of the naturally occurring signs and symptoms of the fertile and infertile phases of a woman's menstrual cycle. No drugs, devices, or surgical procedures are used to avoid pregnancy. Since the methods of NFP respect the love-giving (unitive) and life-giving (procreative) nature of the conjugal act, they support God's design for married love!”.
Are you searching for what God’s plan is for your life? Are you discerning your vocation and wondering what steps to take? The Diocese of Belleville is hosting a discernment night for high school students and single young adults to help answer your questions. The night begins with Mass followed by dinner in the undercroft, a talk on discernment, and Eucharistic Adoration. Questions, email mskorch@diobelle.org.
