Sixth Sunday of Ordinary Time Bulletin ~ February 10-11, 2024

Protect me, God: for in you I take refuge.  You are my portion and cup, my life is in your hands.  I keep you ever before me, for you are my God.  You stand at my right hand; I shat not waver.  And so my heart is glad and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure.  For you do not leave my life among the dead, or let your servant go down into the pit.  You will show me the path of life, fullness of joy in your presence, happiness forever at your right hand.  Amen.  Pope Francis

World Marriage Day

February 11 ~ Noon Mass at the Cathedral Basilica of St. Louis, MO

All married couples are invited to attend and celebrate the gift of marriage.  World Marriage Day honors husband and wife as the foundation of the family – the basic unit of society.  It emphasizes the faithfulness, sacrifice and joy of daily married life.

This weekend, every parish in the diocese will begin a new year participating in The Catholic Service and Ministry Appeal.  This annual collection supports the ministries and agencies in our diocese whose scope of service could not be duplicated by an individual parish.   You will have an opportunity to make your pledge or gift at Mass this weekend and throughout the whole year, until we meet our goal.  No gift is too great or too small.  If you do not receive a pledge card in the mail or forget to bring it, please use one of the reply envelopes available at each door of church.  Our new goal for 2024 will be publicized soon.
