NEW PARISH HALL CONSTRUCTION APPROVAL
We are pleased to share some very good news regarding our parish hall project. The Diocese of Belleville has officially granted approval for St. John the Baptist Parish (Piopolis) to proceed with the construction of our first-ever parish hall. This new facility will serve as our parish office, PSR classrooms, parish hall, and gymnasium.
Â
This approval marks a significant milestone for our parish community, and we are excited about the many opportunities this welcoming space will provide for fellowship, education, and ministry for years to come.
Â
Additionally, St. John’s has received approval for a loan to bridge pledged capital campaign funds until they are received as cash. At this time, we are still in need of pledges and donations totaling $102,944 to fully reach our funding goal for this $2.5 million project.
Â
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who have already contributed to this effort and warmly welcome continued consideration of donations or pledges. Please keep this important project in your prayers as we move forward.
Thank you, and God bless.

Â
Prayer for Our New Hall
Good and gracious God, builder of all things, we give thanks to you for all of your goodness to us. We ask for your mercy and assistance. You have blessed us with a beautiful church and a marvelous parish. Help us in our desire to build a new parish hall, to promote, educate and sanctify your people. Bless our efforts and bring them to fruitful completion. Through Christ our Lord, Amen.
