ST. ELIZABETH'S ALTAR SODALITY

In honor of Pro-Life Month, will be collecting donations for the NEW Pregnancy Help Center in Carmi Throughout October.

Items we are collecting:

· Baby items

· Baby clothes up to 12 months

· New and gently used Maternity clothing

· Financial Donations

· Prayers GREATLY Appreciated!!

Please place all donations in the basket in the church entry. Last day to drop off items will be November 1, 2020.




HANDICAP/ELDERLY ACCESSIBLE PARKING LOT

Concrete is all poured for parking lot and will be able to use here soon. Donations are still be accepted for this project. Pledged to date: $27,400 of $74,000 project.

THE VOCATIONS OFFICE

Bishop Michael McGovern and Fr. Nick Junker are inviting young men interested in learning more about the Catholic priesthood to participate in a St. Andrew Dinner. BOXES OF JOY ARE BACK!

Cross Catholic Outreach is the sponsor and is a Catholic organization who gives boxes to poor children living in poverty outside the U.S., during Christmas. Your Box of Joy may be the only Christmas gift a child receives! Pickup yours as you exit church or in the hall. Inside each box provides more information on what to include in each box and a shipping form that will need to include $9 for shipping cost. If you have any question, contact the office. Return boxes to the back of church or to the office.

HAMILTON COUNTY KIDS CHRISTMAS

They will not be doing this program this year. So, if you normally do this, you might want to consider taking a Box of Joy. Boxes are located as you exit church and due back November 8-9.

PASTOR'S NOTE

All Souls Day is The Commemoration of All the Faithful Departed and we pray for all who have died. We pray for their redemption and forgiveness of their sins with the Holy Rosary. Anyone who would like their deceased relative's name to be read during the rosary lead by me before mass on All Souls Day beginning at 5:30 p.m., please put their name(s) in an envelope and place in the collection basket during mass, or send via email to catholic@hamiltoncom.net to the office by 10:00 am on Thursday, October 29. I will be gone October 17-23. In case of an emergency, please contact neighboring church. Fr. Ptak
