Reminder: Due to federal privacy laws, we are not allowed to list people or visit who are sick or in the nursing home without written authorization from that individual or from their immediate family who has authorization. Form can be requested from the office.


PSR NEWS


Sundays at 9:30 a.m. Kids not old enough for PSR yet, come pick up a treat bag and see Santa in the hall immediately after Mass. Then Santa will make his way to PSR Classes.



CHRISTMAS MEMORIALS FOR NEEDY IN THE PARISH

This year, in your envelope packet on December 13 is a green envelope marked, Christmas Memorial for Needy in Parish. If you would like a memorial in Christmas booklet in memory of your loved one(s), please place name(s) in this envelope and drop in the collection box or mail to office by Monday, December 21.



CHRISTMAS PENANCE SERVICE

Tuesday, December 15 starting at 6:00 p.m. (note time change) Please call or email office to sign up for time.



LADIES CHRISTMAS RECIPE EXCHANGE

There will be no annual Ladies Christmas party this year, BUT we will have a Christmas Recipe Exchange instead! All women are encouraged to participate. Just sign up by December 17, and you will be contacted with the name and address of the person you have been assigned. Pick out a favorite recipe (it does not have to be a Christmas recipe) to send in a Christmas card or an envelope with a short note to your “Recipe Pal” by Christmas. RETIREMENT FUND FOR RELIGIOUS

Do you remember the sisters, brothers, or religious order priest who made a positive difference in your life? Today many are elderly, need assistance. and are struggling to meet retirement needs while continuing to serve the People of God. Please give to the Retirement Fund for Religious this weekend.

GUATEMALA MISSION UPDATE

Covid-19 has not allowed our sister parishes to have Mass with the public for over 7 months now. Please realize that the priests of Jutiapa do not get paid and rely on their parishioners for support. Please consider supporting our sister parish. Use envelope in envelope packet or drop in a marked envelope in collection. See website for pictures.

THE VOCATIONS OFFICE

Bishop Michael McGovern and Fr. Nick Junker are inviting young men interested in learning more about the Catholic priesthood to participate in a St. Andrew Dinner. DIOCESES OF BELLEVILLE ~ ADOPT A SEMINARIAN

Cards located as you exit church. There are lots of ways to help: Remember his birthday, become a prayer warrior, send a care package, remember him at Christmas, or send notes of encouragement to name a few.

There will be no Hamilton County Kid's Christmas names this year, here is another place you can donate to support kids from our county.

Please contact the office to reserve your time. Dates and times are subject to change due to COVID and volunteer help. Vigil Mass has been added to this year schedule, due to COVID restrictions.



NURSING HOME DONATIONS

Fr. Ptak delivers $250 gift card from Food Park and boxes of Cusumano Fruit Boxes, funds from the Needy in the Parish, to Hamilton Memorial Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center and McLeansboro Healthcare Center as an appreciation gift to their employees and residents.

Our Parish currently has parishioners who are living at both locations.
