PASTOR'S NOTES:

This Sunday we begin the new liturgical year of 2022. The Advent wreath holds four candles on each of the four Sundays of the Advent. The fifth candle in the middle symbolizes Jesus Christ. Advent is a time of prayer, reflection, and waiting for the coming Savior. The Liturgical color of this season is purple. All flowers and extra decorations are taken away. However, there are exceptions to this, certain solemnities and feasts.

I wish all of you a blessed Advent time, Fr. Ptak

P.S. Thank you to each one of you who took the time to wish me Happy Birthday and sent cards, messages, and gifts. May God be praised for allowing me to make another trip around the sun! God Bless You All!
