Franciscan at Home

The mission of our parish is to know our faith and share it with others, to continue to grow spiritually with respect for the sacraments, to celebrate the liturgy and the Holy Eucharist as the center of our Christian life, to live by truth and love, to serve those in need, to teach by example, and thereby strengthen and inspire our Parish family in accordance with the Roman Catholic Church. To help us in achieving this mission, our parish has just subscribed to an extraordinarily effective new outreach from Franciscan University’s Catechetical Institute (CI). Thanks to a partnership between our diocese and the CI, we are now able to offer local, mentored, substantive, and engaging formation for every person in ministry. That includes clergy, catechists, school personnel, youth ministers, adult group leaders, volunteers, parents. It is free to all parishioners, with unlimited access.

Come grow, come explore a really bright sign of hope: https://franciscanathome.com/. It is the most in-depth and faithful array of true formation workshops ever created. Throughout the workshop, your active engagement will be requested; the workshops are not designed for passive viewing only. With a focus upon your mission to join the saints in glory, over 200 workshops in English and in Spanish are available right now, and every month new workshops are added. Clink on link below for step by step instruction to register you and everyone else in your family. If you have questions, you can contact Andrea Short or parish office.
