We the parishioners of St. John the Baptist,

brothers and sisters in Christ, accept as our mission:

to know our faith and share it with others, to continue to grow spiritually with respect for the sacraments, to celebrate the liturgy and the Holy Eucharist  as the center of  our Christian life, to live by truth and love, to serve those in need, to teach by example, and thereby strengthen and inspire our Parish family in accordance with the Roman Catholic Church.

Your financial support remains an important part of our Parish life and helps us keep going. Please continue giving your time, talent, and treasure. Please mail, drop-off your offering in collection box, in the mailbox by Parish office front door or now online.

Online Giving is Live!

We are excited to offer online giving to make it easier to donate to our church.  It's really easy!  You can set up a one-time gift or recurring gifts.  You get to choose the frequency.  You can debit a checking or savings account.  Unfortunately, the fees for credit cards are not cost effective at this time.  If you have any questions or need help setting up an account, call Rachel at the office.

For regular weekly envelopes, you’ll choose the General Collection.  But you can also choose from any of the other special collections that you normally receive envelopes for.

THE 2025 CATHOLIC SERVICE AND MINISTRY APPEAL

Parish Goal $9,846 ~ Pledge to Date $2,855

Do you remember your or your children’s or, perhaps, your grandchildren’s first time away from home attending college?  While greatly anticipated, it can also be a challenging, sometimes overwhelming experience.  Today hundreds of young adults find a comfortable, secure, faith-based home during their college years as a “family” member of the Newman Catholic Student Center at SIUC.  Your contribution to CSMA helps makes this experience possible.  Partner with Newman’s students and staff by making your gift to The Appeal today!
